When the slopes become hiking trails
Hike around in Méribel to discover all its beauties and mysteries and enjoy how the environment changes from one season to another.
The Tuéda Nature Reserve covers 1100 hectares from Lake Tuéda to the Gébroulaz glacier. Here you can admire the Cembros pines, one of the most beautiful forests in the Alps. As soon as the first snow falls, you can swap your hiking boots for snowshoes to walk the trails!
The Forest of the Altiport is a sunny site that offers a breathtaking view. You will discover an exceptional and rejuvenating natural environment, immersed in the large pine forest. In winter, the Forest of the Altiport is a paradise for cross-country skiers...
The Alpage de la Traie is an ancestral alpine pasture, linked to the history and traditions of the Savoyard mountains. You will feel cut off from the world, fully immersed within the beautiful green landscapes. In winter, the site transforms into one of the best locations for ski touring.
The Méribel Golf Club, a unique mountainside golf green
This 18-hole mountain course is perfectly blended into its natural environment, surrounded by water basins and trees. Designed for beginners as well as experienced players, this magnificent course winds over 250 meters/820 ft. of vertical drop. Only open throughout the summer months, the Méribel Golf Club attracts both visitors and locals to enjoy either an afternoon or a full day of golfing.
The electric bike, discover the mountain in a different way
For those wanting an adrenaline-fuelled activity, the electric bike allows you to tackle the mountain terrain with ease, exploring the mountains from a new perspective. Follow the paths, take full advantage of the extraordinary landscape that awaits you. Take a moment to experience the peace of the mountains – an opportunity to empty your mind and recharge your batteries.
Climbing, to gain height
At the Olympic Park, everyone is welcome to train or learn how to climb on the 14-meter/ 45ft. wall. The sessions take place over one or two hours, and are available every day upon request. Access to the wall is free outside the periods of supervision by the guides. During the summer, climbing evenings are organised to give you a unique experience.
Rafting and canyoning, for thrills
In the summer, you can experience rafting on the Doron de Bozel river. Passing through the Gorges de Centron, you will discover the most beautiful part of the river appreciating the gorgeous views. For the more adventurous, you will discover the opportunity to jump from waterfalls surrounded by lush greenery from heights up to 8 meters/26ft.
Horseback riding in the middle of nature
The Cœur Equestre des 3 Vallées offers hours of horseback riding in the summer and the winter. An introduction to pony riding is available for children who have not been riding before and all rides will be adapted to suit the experience of the rider.
