Prize Maisons Pariente

A new competition aimed at promoting the emerging French art scene

On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Maisons Pariente, Kimberley Cohen and Leslie Kouhana, its co-founders, announce the creation of the Maisons Pariente Prize. The goal of this prize is to highlight the emerging art scene, strengthen the group’s strong artistic commitment, and discover and support young talents in their artistic journey.

Hotel Le Grand Mazarin Library Bar (2)

Passed down through several generations, art holds an important place in each of the Maisons. Like a patron, the Pariente family personally selects the artworks and creations

Each of the hotels is a true sanctuary of art, where creativity and elegance blend to create living spaces. Contemporary works stand alongside bold and captivating sculptures, all chosen for their ability to inspire and move, thus reflecting the Collection’s commitment to celebrating art in all its forms. The four hotels in the Collection, located in exceptional destinations—Crillon le Brave in Provence, Lou Pinet in Saint-Tropez, Le Coucou in Méribel, and Le Grand Mazarin in Paris—offer a rich selection of artworks.

The Prize

For this first edition, the candidates will be asked to imagine an original work designed to “dress a wall” with a mural on any medium, based on the theme “From real journeys to imaginary voyages, how does reality shape our dreams?”.

The jury, composed of 8 members, will include Charles Zana, architect; Amélie du Chalard, founder of the gallery Amélie Maison d’Art; Michèle Dard, director of the Camondo school; Julia Rouzaud, founder of Goodmoods; Isabelle Dubern, co-founder of The Invisible Collection; Isis Colombe-Combréas, co-founder of MilK Decoration, as well as Kimberley Cohen and Leslie Kouhana.

At the end, 10 finalists will be selected, among whom three winners will be awarded. The winners will receive a financial grant (€5000 for the 1st place winner, €3000 for the 2nd place winner, €2000 for the 3rd place winner).

The announcement of the three winners will take place on March 21, 2025, during a cocktail evening in partnership with Taittinger, at the Parisian art gallery Amélie Maison d’Art, where their works will be presented and then exhibited. The first-place winner will also have their work displayed in one of the group’s establishments and will benefit from valuable visibility with both a French and international audience. Their work will be featured on the partner site Goodmoods, and their portrait will be published in MilK Magazine.

Our Maisons

Each Maison embodies a promise of pleasure and a source of emotion, both for future guests and for the teams working behind the scenes. A touch of imagination and a large dose of empathy: anticipating dreams, designing experiences and surprises that move visitors, evoking emotion at first glance, offering joy in every moment, and creating enchanted memories that will remain etched in their minds.
